Scoring Mechanism

  • Originality (40%): Content must not duplicate prior observations in similar space-time range

  • Completeness (30%): Image, description, and optional forecast are all present

  • Validation outcome (30%): The data must be approved by a majority of validators

Scoring is dynamic and rebalanced based on system-wide submission density and location-based data saturation.

Penalty Conditions

  • Low-quality flagging: If multiple validators tag a submission as unclear or misleading, it is rejected and flagged

  • Redundancy penalty: Submissions identical to prior logs within the same zone/timeframe receive zero score

  • Repeated invalid logs: Accounts submitting multiple unverified records enter a review cooldown

Reward Distribution

  • Rewards are paid in $SYN, calculated per submission after successful validation and anchoring

  • Reward size is tied to score percentile (e.g. top 20% completeness submissions receive multiplier)

  • Distribution occurs in batch at the end of each epoch (e.g. every 12–24h block window)

  • Reward status is viewable per submission in the user dashboard
